What Is SIT

SIT - stands fo Special Investigation Team. A special team of officers to investigate serious crimes. Investigation in general means to include all proceeding under CrPC for the collection of evidences. SIT is formed when the existing agencies are not able to conduct a proper investigation. The sole purpose of constituting SIT is just to conduct free and fare investigation and bring the culprit to justice.
